You must be 18 years of age or older to submit material to us. Your submission of material constitutes your permission for, and consent to, its dissemination and use in connection with the Port of Seattle Centennial in all media in perpetuity. Your material may be published on the Port of Seattle website. The material you submit must have been created by you, wholly original, and shall not be copied from or based, in whole or in part, upon any other photographic, literary, or other material, except to the extent that such material is in the public domain. In the event that your story includes materials not directly under your ownership and control, you represent that you have full authority from the owner of such materials, including but not limited to all persons named and quoted, to grant this Release. By submitting material to the Port of Seattle, you grant the Port of Seattle the rights to use, reference, copy, modify for clarity, edit, alter, create derivative works from, display, publish, distribute, and communicate story or any parts thereof, for exhibition, archival, educational, promotional and other standard exhibit purposes in any and all media without additional compensation. Such rights are world-wide, royalty free and without a requirement for additional approval. By submitting material to the Port of Seattle you release, discharge, and agree to hold harmless the Port of Seattle and persons acting under its permission or authority from any claims or liability arising out the Port of Seattle’s use of the material, including, without limitation, claims for violation of privacy, defamation, or misrepresentation. You grant Port of Seattle full permission and authority to use, publish and display your name for promotional related purposes in any media without additional compensation. The Port of Seattle has no obligation to use your material. We cannot return any material you submit to us so be sure to keep a copy. The Port of Seattle will not share your email address or any other information with commercial vendors. We may, in our sole discretion, modify these Terms from time to time. We reserve the right to make changes at any time, without notice or obligation, to any of the content and information contained on this Site.
